A few more before pics

Here's a few misc pics. The pics of the hole is in the back bunk. I'm thinking it is from a mod the previous owners did. A fan, maybe? The othe pic is a view of the rear bunks without the mattresses and the accordian curtain that closes that area off. There is also a pic of the original jacknife sofa that was in the front under the front upper bunk. It was really gross from mouse ick, and Scott and I wouldn't fit on there anyways, so it had to go.

Mouseapalooza

This is the only picture I have that shows a taste of the Mouse Woodstock that was staged in our camper before we bought it. This is the one of the floor cabinets and that is petrified mouse pee and poop. Yuck!!! We also found all kinds of nests made out of insulation from all over the camper including from around the oven. The drawers were full of nests as well as mummified mouse corpses. We also had a lifetime supply of acorns. Needless to say I was dressed in my version of a haz-mat suit when I was cleaning it out and everything sealed got cleaned with bleach water, and everything not sealed (like the raw wood drawer interiors) got sealed with Kilz sealer and painted after I washed it as well as I could with the bleach water. The grey heating duct in the front has been removed and will be replaced with a new one.

The Before

These are the pics from ebay from when we bought the camper. We knew when we bought it that it would be a lot of work, since it was listed under "parts". From the listing we also knew that it had been visited by mice and had some water damage. But we got it for a song, so if it doesn't work out we aren't losing money since we could easily make it back by parting the camper out.
